About Dragon
This is the one we reach for when the request is animals. Dragon keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. Topstar made it. It has 131 saves behind it — enough that we trust the demand, not just our own taste.
Botanical and animal work is judged at the edges, so zoom in and see whether the leaves and the fur are drawn or blurred. The obvious job for it is creatures, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Type animal, dinos, dinosaur and draco into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. The same shelf also answers to floral, botanical, flower, leaf and plant, so widen the search there before giving up on it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Its home here is Botanical and Animal Illustrations — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
