Most of the drawing on this site is pencil and paper, but a lot of you write to me about drawing on the iPad. These are the online courses from Artist School that I would point you to, grouped by what you want to do. Pencil first if you draw on paper, the Procreate groups if you draw on the iPad.
Learn to draw with a pencil
Pencil Drawing Made Easy
The graphite video course I recommend most. Every subject starts from the solid form, the same order as my lessons, filmed at the speed a hand actually moves. It goes on to faces, figures and shading by form.
