About Flowers for Mom

The reason Flowers for Mom is here is card illustration and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 3, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. It comes from digitalartcreations. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.

We would use it the way the listing hints — colorful — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Check the background: an illustration sold as a PNG with a soft halo will show that halo on every coloured page you place it on. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

Filed as decorative, floral, floral illustrations and flowers. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. What this shelf gets asked for is watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Nearby you will see botanical, leaf, plant, bird and animal, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We filed it under Botanical and Animal Illustrations for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
