About Owl Illustration

The reason Owl Illustration is here is africa and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. 31 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It comes from Topstar.

We would use it the way the listing hints — animals — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Check the background: an illustration sold as a PNG with a soft halo will show that halo on every coloured page you place it on. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether africa is really what you are getting.

Type art, background, backgrounds and clip art into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Its home here is Botanical and Animal Illustrations — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. We track what people actually type before they land here: watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are floral, botanical, flower, leaf and plant and they stay on this page.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
