About 10 Antique Vintage Flowers Vol 4

Most of what turns up under acuarela needs work before it is usable. 10 Antique Vintage Flowers Vol 4 is the version that does not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Only 2 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Credit goes to Rahallus Ntx.

We would use it the way the listing hints — aquarelle — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

Filed as art, arte, artist and artistsoninstagram. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. People after this usually search line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. We keep it under Line Art and References, which is where to look if you want the rest of the line art and references we have gone through. The searches that bring people to this shelf are drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
