About Black Spiky Starburst Vector Set with Va

Black Spiky Starburst Vector Set with Va is our abstract pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Credit goes to DesignVectx. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.

Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The obvious job for it is background, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract is really what you are getting.

Search for art, black, black shape and bold and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same file, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Put next to the usual requests here — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. People after this usually search line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Its home here is Line Art and References — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
