About Bold & Easy Squishmallow Coloring Fun

Ask for adorable and you get a hundred near-misses; Bold & Easy Squishmallow Coloring Fun is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Credit goes to Coffee mix. The buyers who left a word rate it 4.5 out of 5 — 2 reviews, all of them on the listing. The save count is still small at 85, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.

Put it to work on animals first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether adorable is really what you are getting.

The listing files it under avocado, bear, bold and bunny — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Nearby you will see line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. What this shelf gets asked for is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
