About Butterfly Floral Border Black White
Most of what turns up under black and white needs work before it is usable. Butterfly Floral Border Black White is the version that does not. The designer behind it is DesignVectx. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
We would use it the way the listing hints — black white — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as black, border, borders and botanical. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The neighbouring searches are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. The wording people arrive with is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
