About Classic Divider

Classic Divider is our acrylic cutting pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The designer behind it is Platinum Monograms. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.

We keep it filed mentally under acrylic engraving, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether acrylic cutting was the description or the aspiration.

Type black silhouette, cnc cutting, cnc design and cnc router into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
