About Decorative Divider

The reason Decorative Divider is here is acrylic cutting and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The designer behind it is Platinum Monograms. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Only 2 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.

Our own plan for it is acrylic engraving, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether acrylic cutting was the description or the aspiration.

It answers to black silhouette, cnc cutting, cnc design and cnc router, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait and they stay on this page.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
