About Elegant Divider

Most of what turns up under acrylic cutting needs work before it is usable. Elegant Divider is the version that does not. The designer behind it is Platinum Monograms. It is quiet on saves so far, so take this as our opinion rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.

We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. If you want one use for it, take acrylic engraving: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

It answers to black silhouette, cnc cutting, cnc design and cnc router, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We track what people actually type before they land here: drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
