About Flower Vector Illustration

The reason Flower Vector Illustration is here is asia and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The save count is still small at 14, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. It comes from pixeness.

Our own plan for it is autumn, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

If you came in looking for art, background, beautiful and blossom, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We keep it under Line Art and References, which is where to look if you want the rest of the line art and references we have gone through. Put next to the usual requests here — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
