About Friendly Space Buddies Coloring Fun
Ask for alien characters and you get a hundred near-misses; Friendly Space Buddies Coloring Fun is one of the few that answers the question as asked. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The designer behind it is BundleExpert.
Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. If you want one use for it, take alien coloring pages: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as alien doodles, alien friends coloring, alien kids coloring and astronaut coloring pages. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The wording people arrive with is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. The neighbouring searches are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
