About Graphical Memphis Element

We put Graphical Memphis Element on the Line Art and References shelf because abstract is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Only 9 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is winwin.artlab's work. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.

We keep it filed mentally under background, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

If you came in looking for art and bauhaus, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Its home here is Line Art and References — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
