About Simple Flower Line Art Design

Simple Flower Line Art Design earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to aesthetic art, and straight answers are rarer in this file catalogue than you would think. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is MizexArt's work. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.

Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. If you want one use for it, take black and white: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether aesthetic art was the description or the aspiration.

Filed as bloom, blossom, botanical and botanical art. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. What this shelf gets asked for is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. The same shelf also answers to outline, sketch, drawing, portrait and anatomy, so widen the search there before giving up on it. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
