About Spooky Places: Cozy Coloring Book
Spooky Places: Cozy Coloring Book is our adult activity book pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. 4 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It comes from HappyColor Design.
The obvious job for it is adult coloring book, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The words on the listing are autumn aesthetic, autumn coloring pages, autumn leaves coloring and black and white coloring, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The neighbouring searches are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. The wording people arrive with is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
