About Study Corner Vector Design

We put Study Corner Vector Design on the Line Art and References shelf because black and white is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is Cute Things. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.

Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Our own plan for it is books, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

The words on the listing are black and white vector, bookshelves, cartoon style and chair and desk, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. What this shelf gets asked for is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Nearby you will see line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. It is shelved with the rest of the line art and references, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
