About Thai Food Illustration

This is the one we reach for when the request is asia. Thai Food Illustration keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. FannanStudio made it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.

If you want one use for it, take collection: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

Type asian, delicious, design and dish into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. The wording people arrive with is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. Related wording on the shelf: line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
