About Watercolor Cat with Peonies Illustration
What we like about Watercolor Cat with Peonies Illustration is how little it tries to be everything — it does cat illustration, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Line Art and References shelf. It comes from Manifesto Design. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Our own plan for it is cat png, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether cat illustration was the description or the aspiration.
Type cat watercolor, cat watercolor drawing, cat with flowers watercolor illustration and cat with peonies watercolor into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Nearby you will see line art, outline, sketch, portrait and anatomy, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
