About Watercolor Flamingo Valentine and Flower
What we like about Watercolor Flamingo Valentine and Flower is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Line Art and References shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Only 12 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is Design Store's work.
Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. If you want one use for it, take animal: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The listing files it under art, backdrop, beautiful and bird — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
