About Wreath with Watercolor Leaves, Flowers.

Wreath with Watercolor Leaves, Flowers. earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to birthday card, and straight answers are rarer in this file catalogue than you would think. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 2 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. 67 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Credit goes to Larisa Maslova.

We keep it filed mentally under border, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

Type clipart, design, digital and digital flowers into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Its home here is Line Art and References — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. We track what people actually type before they land here: drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. People after this usually search line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
