About Colonial Cuts Signs Emblems and Ornament

Most of what turns up under america needs work before it is usable. Colonial Cuts Signs Emblems and Ornament is the version that does not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It comes from Intellecta Design. It sits at 20 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.

The obvious job for it is colonial, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. If it is going on paper, look for the largest size the file supports — an illustration that is perfect on screen can be grainy in print. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether america is really what you are getting.

It answers to cuts, dingabts, print shop and settlers, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We keep it under Printable Illustrations, which is where to look if you want the rest of the printable illustrations we have gone through. The neighbouring searches are illustration, clipart, clip art, printable and art — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. What this shelf gets asked for is doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
