About Halloween Flourish Dividers

The reason Halloween Flourish Dividers is here is bats and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. nurearth made it.

If you plan to print it, look for the largest size the file supports — an illustration that is perfect on screen can be grainy on paper. Our own plan for it is border, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

It answers to calligraphy, certificate, classical and corner, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Related wording on the shelf: illustration, clipart, clip art, printable and art. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. We keep it under Printable Illustrations, which is where to look if you want the rest of the printable illustrations we have gone through. Put next to the usual requests here — doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
