About Restricted Area Tape. Dangerous Zone Red

What we like about Restricted Area Tape. Dangerous Zone Red is how little it tries to be everything — it does access, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Printable Illustrations shelf. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is vectortatu.

If it is going on paper, look for the largest size the file supports — an illustration that is perfect on screen can be grainy in print. We keep it filed mentally under accident, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

If you came in looking for area, attention, barricade and barrier, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We keep it under Printable Illustrations, which is where to look if you want the rest of the printable illustrations we have gone through. What this shelf gets asked for is doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Related wording on the shelf: illustration, clipart, clip art, printable and art. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
