About Set of Micrographic Element Futuristic

Set of Micrographic Element Futuristic is our abstract pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Spacelabs Studio made it. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.

Check the colour mode and the DPI in the listing. Those two decide whether the print matches what you approved on the monitor. We would use it the way the listing hints — arrow — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

The listing files it under art, background, border and box — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. You will find it among the printable illustrations, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Nearby you will see illustration, clipart, clip art and printable, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The wording people arrive with is doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
