About White Cloud Flat

If abstract is what you came for, start here — White Cloud Flat is the plainest reading of that request on the Printable Illustrations shelf. Credit goes to pikgura. Only 12 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.

If you plan to print it, look for the largest size the file supports — an illustration that is perfect on screen can be grainy on paper. Our own plan for it is air, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

If you came in looking for bright, cartoon, cloud and cloudscape, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The wording people arrive with is doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. Related wording on the shelf: illustration, clipart, clip art and printable. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. Its home here is Printable Illustrations — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
