About Distressed Stamps Collection Vol. 1
The reason Distressed Stamps Collection Vol. 1 is here is altered art and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. 362 people have saved it over there, which tells us the idea works for more than just us. Emily Designs is the name on the listing. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 7 reviews, all of them on the listing.
A texture is only as good as the resolution it is supplied at, so we check that it covers the canvas we work on before we start layering with it. Our own plan for it is background, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. The reviews have done the testing for you; the preview is all that is left to check.
If you came in looking for backgrounds, card making, digital paper and digital papers, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We track what people actually type before they land here: action poses reference drawing, tattoo style drawings, paper airplane drawing, manga style drawing and paper boat drawing. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. Nearby you will see texture, effect, action, overlay and style, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. On this site it lives on the Textures and Effects shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing textures and effects rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
