About Merry Christmas Trees and Lights Poster
This is the one we reach for when the request is baubles. Merry Christmas Trees and Lights Poster keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It is Sprout Mockups's work. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
If you want one use for it, take bold shapes: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A texture is only as good as the resolution it is supplied at, so we check that it covers the canvas we work on before we start layering with it. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
It answers to canvas, card making, christmas card and christmas decor, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. People after this usually search texture, effect, action, overlay and style too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on action poses reference drawing, tattoo style drawings, paper airplane drawing, manga style drawing and paper boat drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. You will find it among the textures and effects, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
