About Movie Ticket Design

We put Movie Ticket Design on the Textures and Effects shelf because admission is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It comes from Mariia Petrova. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail.

A texture is only as useful as the resolution it ships at, so check it covers the canvas you work on before building a piece around it. We would use it the way the listing hints — admit one — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether admission is really what you are getting.

It answers to barcode, bright, cinema and cinema ticket, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We track what people actually type before they land here: action poses reference drawing, tattoo style drawings, paper airplane drawing, manga style drawing and paper boat drawing. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. The neighbouring searches are texture, effect, action, overlay and style — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. Its home here is Textures and Effects — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
