About Retro Summer Girl Pop Art Print
What we like about Retro Summer Girl Pop Art Print is how little it tries to be everything — it does 50s aesthetic, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Textures and Effects shelf. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is Digital Print Charm. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
A texture is only as good as the resolution it is supplied at, so we check that it covers the canvas we work on before we start layering with it. The obvious job for it is aesthetic poster, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as bold colors, bright colors, colorful decor and colorful illustration. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. It is shelved with the rest of the textures and effects, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. Related wording on the shelf: texture, effect, action, overlay and style. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. What this shelf gets asked for is action poses reference drawing, tattoo style drawings, paper airplane drawing, manga style drawing and paper boat drawing. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
