About Butterfly Logo
Butterfly Logo is our wings pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. rohady286 made it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Our own plan for it is fly, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Botanical and animal art is judged on the edges: zoom into the preview and see whether the leaves and fur are drawn or blurred. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for animal and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same file, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We keep it under Botanical and Animal Illustrations, which is where to look if you want the rest of the botanical and animal illustrations we have gone through. The searches that bring people to this shelf are watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The neighbouring searches are floral, botanical, flower, leaf and plant — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
