About Butterfly Logo

The reason Butterfly Logo is here is wings and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. rohady286 made it. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.

We keep it filed mentally under fly, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Botanical and animal work is judged at the edges, so zoom in and see whether the leaves and the fur are drawn or blurred. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

The listing files it under animal — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are floral, botanical, flower, leaf and plant and they stay on this page. We track what people actually type before they land here: watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. It is shelved with the rest of the botanical and animal illustrations, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
