About Lobster Logo

Most of what turns up under cooking needs work before it is usable. Lobster Logo is the version that does not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Credit goes to rohady286.

Check the background: an illustration sold as a PNG with a soft halo will show that halo on every coloured page you place it on. The obvious job for it is seafood, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether cooking was the description or the aspiration.

It answers to animal, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. People after this usually search floral, botanical, flower, leaf and plant too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. You will find it among the botanical and animal illustrations, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Judged against the requests we see — watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
