About 29 Lily of the Valley

Ask for acrylic and you get a hundred near-misses; 29 Lily of the Valley is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Nad July Studio made it. It sits at 11 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.

We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. We would use it the way the listing hints — adult coloring — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

The words on the listing are art, artistic expression, artistic gift and artistic skills, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
