About Anime with Sword One LIne Drawing

Anime with Sword One LIne Drawing is our artwork pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. It comes from ianart. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. 7 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.

We would use it the way the listing hints — black — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

If you came in looking for anime, art, blade and captain, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, portrait and anatomy, so widen the search there before giving up on it. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. The searches that bring people to this shelf are drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
