About Dragon Fruit Cartoon Character Design
What we like about Dragon Fruit Cartoon Character Design is how little it tries to be everything — it does colorful, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Line Art and References shelf. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is printablesplazza's work. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Our own plan for it is character, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether colorful is really what you are getting.
Search for cartoon, colourful, cute and dragon fruit and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same file, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. Put next to the usual requests here — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
