About Dragon Fruit Cartoon Character Design
What we like about Dragon Fruit Cartoon Character Design is how little it tries to be everything — it does colorful, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Line Art and References shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is printablesplazza. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
If you want one use for it, take character: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether colorful is really what you are getting.
Search for cartoon, colourful, cute and dragon fruit and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same file, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Judged against the requests we see — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The neighbouring searches are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. Its home here is Line Art and References — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
