About Highland Cow Journal Ephemera
This is the one we reach for when the request is animal lover. Highland Cow Journal Ephemera keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Credit goes to Velvet.Sparrow. With 3 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. Put it to work on barnyard theme first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether animal lover was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as burlap texture, country fields, country life and country scrapbook sheets. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. What this shelf gets asked for is drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
