About How to Draw Animals Step by Step-Bear
What we like about How to Draw Animals Step by Step-Bear is how little it tries to be everything — it does animal drawings, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Line Art and References shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. With 9 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. It is Step-Bear Graphic by Creative Dream's work.
We keep it filed mentally under animals, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
It answers to animal, art for kids, coloring book and digital paper, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Put next to the usual requests here — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. On this site it lives on the Line Art and References shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing line art and references rather than searching for it by name. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, portrait and anatomy, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
