About How to Draw Animals Step by Step-Dino
How to Draw Animals Step by Step-Dino is our animal drawings pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is Step-Dino Graphic by Creative Dream.
We would use it the way the listing hints — animals — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Search for animal, art for kids, coloring book and digital paper and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same file, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The neighbouring searches are line art, outline, sketch, portrait and anatomy — worth a look if this particular file is close but not quite it. We keep it under Line Art and References, which is where to look if you want the rest of the line art and references we have gone through. Judged against the requests we see — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this file
- Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
- Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
- Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
- Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
