About Simple Flower Line Art Design

We put Simple Flower Line Art Design on the Line Art and References shelf because aesthetic art is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. MizexArt made it. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.

Our own plan for it is black and white, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Reference line art is for practice, so we pick the sheets with clean, unbroken outlines; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

Type bloom, blossom, botanical and botanical art into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. Nearby you will see outline, sketch, drawing, portrait and anatomy, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
