About Topokki Korean Food Illustration

If asia is what you came for, start here — Topokki Korean Food Illustration is the plainest reading of that request on the Line Art and References shelf. With 2 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The designer behind it is Aradevi.

We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. Put it to work on background first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether asia is really what you are getting.

Type asian, asian food, banner and bowl into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
