About Visual Picture Schedule Icons

If activities is what you came for, start here — Visual Picture Schedule Icons is the plainest reading of that request on the Printable Illustrations shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 28 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is STORYKIDS.

Our own plan for it is autism, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. If you plan to print it, look for the largest size the file supports — an illustration that is perfect on screen can be grainy on paper. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether activities is really what you are getting.

Type childern, classroom management and english language arts into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. We keep it under Printable Illustrations, which is where to look if you want the rest of the printable illustrations we have gone through. The searches that bring people to this shelf are doodle art, art sketches, sketchbook art inspiration, art drawings sketches and line art — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The same shelf also answers to illustration, clipart, clip art and printable, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
