About Monkey Logo

Nothing about Monkey Logo is going to surprise you, and on this shelf that counts in its favour. rohady286 made it. The save count is still small at 6, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.

Check the background: an illustration sold as a PNG with a soft halo will show that halo on every coloured page you place it on. We would use it the way the listing hints — logo — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether botanical and animal illustrations was the description or the aspiration.

Type animal and illustration into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on watercolor paintings, animal drawings, bird drawing, hibiscus flower drawing and flower drawings, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. Nearby you will see floral, flower, leaf, plant and bird, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. On this site it lives on the Botanical and Animal Illustrations shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing botanical and animal illustrations rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
