About Black Scalloped Square Frames Vector

Black Scalloped Square Frames Vector earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to border, and straight answers are rarer in this file catalogue than you would think. The save count is still small at 40, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. DesignVectx made it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.

Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Put it to work on black first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

Filed as art, border design, border line and border pattern. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. We filed it under Line Art and References for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
