About Fast Food Illustration

If background is what you came for, start here — Fast Food Illustration is the plainest reading of that request on the Line Art and References shelf. Only 61 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. medzcreative is the name on the listing. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing.

Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. We keep it filed mentally under breakfast, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

Type burger, cheeseburger and chicken into the search above and this one comes back — the same file under four different habits of phrasing. Put next to the usual requests here — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait, so widen the search there before giving up on it. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
