About Father's Day Greeting Card, Vector Files

Father's Day Greeting Card, Vector Files is our celebration pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It comes from Yamurchik. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file.

We look for a sheet with several angles of the same subject rather than one perfect pose — practice needs the awkward views too. The obvious job for it is dad, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether celebration was the description or the aspiration.

The listing files it under card, daddy, family and father — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. We track what people actually type before they land here: drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing. If that is roughly what you were after, this file is in the right family. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are line art, outline, sketch, drawing and portrait and they stay on this page. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
