About Minimalist Botanical Line Drawing

This is the one we reach for when the request is artwork. Minimalist Botanical Line Drawing keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. SKShagor Barmon is the name on the listing.

Our own plan for it is black and white, because that is where this kind of file does the least arguing with you. Reference line art is for practice, so clean unbroken outlines matter; a sketchy reference teaches you somebody else's shaky hand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every file on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

If you came in looking for botanical, bouquet, clip art and concepts, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. You will find it among the line art and references, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Judged against the requests we see — drawing ideas, sketch ideas, flower drawing, drawing reference and anime drawing — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The same shelf also answers to line art, outline, sketch, portrait and anatomy, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this file

  1. Download the set from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — brush sets arrive as .brushset for Procreate or .abr for Photoshop.
  2. Open the brush file on the iPad and it installs itself into a new set; in Photoshop, drag the .abr onto the canvas.
  3. Try every brush once on a scrap canvas and delete the ones you will not use — a bloated brush list slows you down more than it helps.
  4. Keep reference sheets at full size in a separate folder: downscaled references hide exactly the detail you needed them for.
